  • Registration for the all Pond Hockey Classics open to the public on October 1st, at 12:00 pm EST. Registration is done online at www.pondhockeyclassic.com.
  • American Pond Hockey Classic - Minocqua, Wisconsin U.S. Pond Hockey Championships - Minneapolis, Minnesota New England Pond Hockey Classic - Meredith, New Hampshire Lake Champlain Pond Hockey Classic - Colchester, Vermont
  • Each tourney is $1,200 per team. Max roster of 8 players, games are 4v4.
  • Well you are going to have to wait! Unfortunately we can only have a certain number of teams participate. On occasion some teams may drop out or have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancelation, our policy is to work our way down the Reserve List to fill the open spots. Hopefully, we can get you into the action but either way we would love to see you during tournament weekend to watch some games or possibly even volunteer!   • All teams are guaranteed four games with the possibility of more if they make it to playoff rounds. Two games Friday and two games Saturday with Playoff rounds on Sunday. Duster Divisions do not have playoff rounds.
  • All divisions play 4 v 4 and can have a max roster size of 8 players.
  • All Pond Hockey Classic games will be played in a four-on-four, no goalie, round-robin format. Games will be two 15-minute halves with a 2-minute intermission. Teams play two pool play games Friday and two on Saturday with playoff rounds on Sunday for those teams that qualify.

  • The Pond Hockey Classic uses official Pond Hockey goals by Nicerink.

  • Each team can make one substitution. Substitutions must be made by 8:30 a.m. on first day of the event. No other substitutions throughout the tournament are allowed. The four to eight players that are on your roster at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of the event must be the same players that play on your team throughout the tournament.
  • Players can only play on one team throughout the weekend.
  • Dress Accordingly. We will have warming tents, and vendors will be selling hand and feet warmers as well as hot beverages and food!
  • Absolutely! All Pond Hockey Classic tournaments are free and open to the public. In addition to the hockey action, the Pond Hockey Classic offers activity tents, family fun zones, and live entertainment throughout tournament weekend. We hope to see you out on the lake!

  • Information on how to edit or add to your roster will be emailed to team captains.
  • Game schedules for each tournament are released the Wednesday before the week of the tourney. (roughly ten days from puck drop)
  • Final Rosters are due the Monday before your tourney.
